1) Ah TikTok...the elephant in the room and the most entertaining social media out there hands down. Check Out Nat Eliason's experience quickly growing his TikTok audience organically - some good tips and tricks.
2) Derek Edwards - Managing Partner at Collab Currency (great early stage consumer crypto fund) wrote an ode to digital objects - covers why this category even exists, what new behaviors are emerging in the crypto space as a result of more digital objects in circulation and discusses the 2 main use cases of these objects today: Products/Services & Store of Value
3) What's going on in the economy? Seems like everyone is particularly tuned in to J. Powell and macro - here are 2 takes coming from very different perspectives (long term investor vs macro-enthusiasts)
Steve Eisman discusses paradigm shifts, why today's 'regime' is different than 2008 financial crisis and gives his take on real estate market + interest rates (Big short is based on him)
4) Athletic Brewing, the non-alcoholic beer company is growing like crazy and fitting in nicely with the Gen Z trend of beer being un-cool. My favorite daily podcast (TBOY) did a great interview with their founder Bill Shufelt.
5) Grateful to have friends who send me the latest in quantum computing research. Keeping an eye 👀 on this as it has massive implications for security and crypto.
Researchers from the University of Copenhagen and Ruhr University Bochum have made a crucial step in advancing quantum technology by successfully controlling two quantum light sources, opening the doors for the development of quantum mechanical entanglement and quantum networks.
